BUSS is pleased to be able to meet customers and partners again in person at trade fairs in Europe. The Compounding World Expo in Essen, which took place from 29 – 30 September, has come to a successful end and many customer meetings are still fresh in our mind.

At the CWE in Essen, the new large models of the COMPEO series were presented to the trade public. Both the COMPEO 137 and the 176 with their flexible application possibilities perfectly combine highest performance and robustness in one machine. The complete COMPEO series (55-88-110-137-176) is suitable for applications in different temperature ranges, up to 400°C, from reactive thermosets to high-performance engineering plastics. With the COMPEO, BUSS is able to respond very specifically to customer needs and provides from standardized modules a tailor-made response to special requirements. This means that individual solutions are possible for almost any customer requirement.

Our conversations at the Compounding World Expo in Essen show that with the advantages of the COMPEO series, BUSS is meeting current needs of the plastics processing industry in regards of versatility, flexibility and efficiency.

Comments on the fair of BUSS employees

Elmar Wiedemann, Team Sales & Modernization EMERA:
The fair was very good. And it was great to meet our partners again in person. Of course, the number of visitors was not comparable to previous years, but the discussions were at a high level. We also attracted the interest from new customers. Altogether, we are really glad that we exhibited at the CWE.

Frank Knittel, Head of Sales EMERA:
From my point of view, the CWE was extremely successful. Thanks to the good positioning of our stand, we had many customer contacts. The discussions ranged from process or service topics to enquiries for new machines. I personally also had a good exchange with suppliers and market partners. My conclusion is: The entire European compounding industry was gathered at this fair – small and compact, but with high visitor quality.

Dr François Loviat, Head Process & Test Centre:
The show is very focused on compounding, our important main sub-suppliers and also our competitors are present there. Although there were fewer visitors this year because of Covid, this fair was a good opportunity to finally meet customers and partners in person again.

BUSS will be present at other international polymer trade fairs in autumn and winter. There will be room for personal discussions and exchange of experience. Visit our exhibition stands, be inspired and discover what’s new in the world of compounding. We are looking forward to seeing what you have been up to since the last live trade fair!

At Events & Trade Fairs you will find more information about the individual events.
